A new edition is taking shape.

From October 15 to 18, 2026, Palacio de Santa Bárbara will once again become a space where art, design and interiors live together as part of one experience.

We are working on a more considered, more vibrant proposal, with new additions to be revealed little by little. If you are an artist, designer, collector, interior designer or simply want to stay close to what is coming, now is the time to follow us.

The boutique art and design fair in Madrid

ART IN PLACE blends art, design, and interiors within a real setting: a collector's home. The 2024 edition gathered over 80 creators and proved an immersive model inspired by the best interior design editorials. In 2025 the experience expands with paper as the guiding material.

Paper takes center stage

This edition spotlights paper as material, support, and language: paper sculptures and objects, together with works on paper—drawings, photographs, collages, and paintings—that expand its possibilities between art and design.

Press release 2025 · Paper takes center stage

ART IN PLACE 2025 redefines the Madrid art fair scene with an immersive concept that turns Palacio de Santa Bárbara into a collector's home. Paper unfolds as a sculptural material and graphic support in dialogue with design, interiors, and functional objects.

From October 2 to 5, 2025, ART IN PLACE returns to the heart of Madrid with an experience that fuses art, design, and interiors. The fair activates six palace salons with sculptures, paintings, photographs, collages, ceramics, textiles, and furniture that showcase the contemporary power of paper.

The event consolidates itself as a meeting point for artists, designers, gallerists, collectors, and art lovers seeking fresh perspectives in a real environment. Installations invite visitors to live with art on a domestic scale, connecting with editorial and lifestyle trends.

“The fair turns every room into a habitable space where paper, design pieces, and interiors converse in an enveloping atmosphere,” highlights the curatorial team.
